Aghori - The Extreme Asceticism

Aghori's are a sect of Hinduism known for their extreme practices, which some may consider to be unconventional or even taboo.

They are typically associated with the worship of the god Shiva, and are known for their practices of living in cemeteries and using remains of the dead in their rituals. Aghori's are also known for their asceticism and their disregard for societal norms and conventions.

Tantrik Kriya is a set of spiritual practices that are commonly associated with the Tantra tradition of Hinduism. The goal of these practices is to achieve spiritual advancement and liberation through a combination of meditation, rituals, and other techniques. The specific practices used in Tantrik Kriya can vary depending on the particular school or tradition, but they often involve visualization, mantras, and energy work.

It is to be noted that both of these practices are considered as extreme form of spirituality and it's not for everyone and its practices are not mainstream in Hinduism and are not widely practiced or accepted. Many consider them to be highly controversial, and those interested in learning about them should approach the subject with a great deal of caution and skepticism.

As it is a sensitive and complex process hence I suggest that It's not for everyone and should not be taken as an approach to spirituality without any guidance from an expert practitioner.

To become an Aghori, One must first look for a guru or spiritual master who is already an Aghori in order to become one. This guru will lead the seeker on their spiritual path and instruct them in the rituals and disciplines necessary to become Aghori's.

Aghori's lead a life of great renunciation and austerity. They only have access to extremely basic food and necessities and reside in remote places like cemeteries or along the banks of the Ganges River. As a means of overcoming societal taboos and attachments, they also partake in activities like applying cremated body ashes to their bodies, meditating in cemeteries, and even consuming meat and alcohol.

The decision to become an Aghori should only be made after deep thought and with extreme caution as it is not for everyone. It's crucial to respect the Aghori community's beliefs and customs and avoid trying to replicate or make fun of them. They are the most respectful and we should not forget their extreme devotion towards god when seeing one.
